If you grew up on the coast of BC you probably have heard of Sprockids. Sprockids is an amazing teaching program that exposes kids to the rich adventures and rewards that mountain biking can bring. Spockids creator Doug Detwiller has worked tirelessly on the project of engaging youth in cycling since 1990 – starting first in Gibson, BC and taking that experience and creating a manual that has permitted his program and vision to spread to communities across Canada and beyond. Click the link below to read further about the program , its history and about its creator or go to the Sprockids website. More people on bikes helps us all.
