Yeah!!! Got a chance to time being in Kamloops the weekend Sunpeaks opened to snowboard some dry powder with my girl Sarah! It was shin deep all over the mountain and there were no liftlines. Awesome slashalicious fun! Did a buncha Sunburst quad blasts and a few upper mtn Crystal chairs. Ran into some old speed skiing buddies and hammered some Sacred Line runs…1000 feet of medium steep, blown in open huge face. Milked turns with highspeed straightlines out the bottom like a 1000 foot wave. Went in for lunch and got photographed carving a turn up to the lodge and found myself on the front page of the Kamloops Daily News! ha ha I love the camera, and the camera loves me! ha ha
Had a great time, ran into the funky locals, and felt the leg burn of ripping a big mountain. The conditions are perfect already this season. Can’t wait to go back…oh wait, I’m going this weekend! More powder please, cause I’ve got Mad Pow Disease!
