New Rides vs. Wrecked Knee vs. SCHOOL!
It’s been a fare bit since my last post. To be honest I haven’t really rode in the last 2 or 3 months so I don’t really have much of an update on that end, BUUUT I do have a couple other interesting facts.
I’m now riding Brodie bikes for this up coming season, check them out below.

This past weekend I was down in Victoria visiting my girlfriend and lucky enough I brought my Dissident with me because while I was there visiting I got an e-mail that we were going to shoot a Race Face web edit in Vic that weekend. So I spent a couple days checking and tweaking spots with Jarrett Moore and Aaron Larocque. We all met up at Starbucks Saturday morning and headed to the trails to warm up and to start filming. Everything was going well, and we were all shredding pretty decent until I spun a 3 and set my foot down since I was a wee bit off. My knee went backwards and made the loudest ‘POPPING’ sound, ever! It’s The Most Wonderful Time Of The Year!

I love riding my bike all the time, but I especially love it in the fall! It is the best weather and the trail conditions are prime! I moved to North Van a few years ago simply for the riding, I mean you can ride all year round here on “The Shore”. If you like riding wet slick roots, then the shore in the winter or on a rainy fall day is the place to be! The temp is just right so that you don’t over heat, and the cool air feels great on the lungs. (continue reading…)

Dincus on the road
It’s been a little while now since my last update but anyways… Been on the road for the last two months doing the tradeshow tour. Good to be home and riding again ! Was out filming the last couple days with National Geographic and man those boys don’t mess around, they run a serious tight program, true professionals! The shoot also included Dincus Atheletes Paul Stevens and James Mcskimming who also ride for Race Face.

Riding never ends up in Whistler…

Hey everyone,
it’s kind of rainy since the Whistler Bike Park closed but we are still riding MTB around. Now the Pembe’s season is kicking off! I love Pemberton. I think it’s my favorite place to ride in the world because it’s steep, technical and knarly. I’ve spent my third summer up here in Whistler. For sure I rode a lot the Bike Park all summer long except during July because of my injury on my ribs and the small leak on my lung that I had after a big crash in front of Brett Tippie at Mount Washington. The summer was good and very dry this year. I’ve been testing the new Rocky Mountain Flatline WC the entire summer.

Canadian MTB Nationals
Been out here in St Felicien, Quebec since Tuesday getting prepped for the National Championships. The one big race each and every rider is hoping to do well in and get the red and white jersey for the next year. I’m feeling pretty good out here, the course is amazing. Lots of single track, burms, jumps and so on. Not your usual xc course, but for a British Columbian like myself it is heaven. Just on some R&R time for the rest of the day, massaging and stretching then make some dinner. I’ll try and update how the race went over the next couple days..
Just a few photos here, saw a baby black bear out on the course pre-riding yesterday. Some lady comes running down the road yelling “OMG! A bear, Run!” I myself live in the woods, so this is an everyday occurrence. So I was like sweet I have a camera and she yelled back “Are you mad, It’s a freaking bear!”. Must of have been from the heart of Toronto or something…
